Anger management, Expressing feelings, and emotional intelligence

Are you the sort of person who keeps all of your emotions bottled inside? Maybe you stuff them so deep down that you don't even know if you have emotions. Until something insignificant happens, then you blow your top and all hell breaks loose. Then tremendous guilt and regret sets in, and you immediately vow never to do that again. But then the cycle repeats itself over and over again.

Emotional intelligence has several components: 

  • The ability to correctly identify and recognize one's own emotions
  • The ability to correctly assess someone else's emotions
  • The ability to express one's emotions in an honest, vulnerable, and constructive way
  • The ability to foster connections and relationships with empathy and personal integrity

I would be the first to say that I was not taught this by my parents, and I went through much of my life emotionally stunted. It has taken a great deal of personal work to develop my emotional intelligence. As your Coach, I will help you recognize your emotions, express them positively, and form more authentic and rewarding connections in your personal and professional life.
